Finally...another update!

Time is flying!!! We are down to the single digits for the number of weeks left before Peanut arrives! (AHH!) I definitely have what I would call a "baby mound". I am feeling great though and have had no complaints about being pregnant. What a blessing! She is very busy doing somersaults inside and we are able to feel and "see" her all the time. What an experience!
Although we are getting very excited for her arrival...we still have plenty of things to get done. Chad claims I have definitely started "nesting" as I am cleaning our cupboards, closets, and organizing and reorganizing things! He wouldn't need to worry about me if he would just work on the "to do" list I have made for him! :) He is such a good husband!

We have the dresser all organized and hope to assemble the crib next weekend. It is only about another month before we go to our baby classes. I think that could be a pretty hilarious experience for the two of us with some MUCH needed information! Courtney and Beth (Chad's sisters) have already given Chad a "crisis bag" for the hospital with all of the things he may need for himself! He has been joking with everyone that he will need some smelling salts or something so that he doesn't pass out during the whole thing. ha! I'm sure we will have some good stories!

We have had a couple baby showers already. They were lots of fun and we received some much needed items and also some FUN stuff! Lets just say between the gifts from others and then the bit of shopping Chad & I have done...she should be one stylin' girl! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family ! We have a few more showers coming up over the next few weeks with friends and family.

Chad has been very busy with work and trying to get in lots of traveling before she arrives. He is continuing to travel quite a bit throughout this month and then hopes to just do short trips around here the next 2 months so he will be close! I have been busy with school. It is hard to believe we are already pretty much done with 1st quarter. I have a wonderful group of kids and I am loving my new school and 2nd grade! I know the next few weeks at school will go quick with report cards and conferences. I'm sure I'll also be busy preparing for a long term sub!

Below are some pictures from our 3D sonogram. It was an incredible experience! Chad's parents (Marty & EJ) & sisters (Courtney & Beth) went along with us and our niece (Maggie) and nephew (Timothy). My family was able to be a part of the experience through the Internet. They were able to watch it live! Peanut was pretty cooperative at times but the sonographer said she was always nestled into me so close that some of the pictures were difficult to get.
That's all for now! Not sure when the next update will come...it could be when she arrives! :)
